We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize our organization’s databases. The ideal candidate will ensure high performance, data availability, and security across multiple database environments.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Database Management & Maintenance

• Install, configure, and upgrade database servers (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB).

• Monitor database performance and tune queries, indexes, and configurations.

• Implement backup, restore, and disaster recovery solutions.

• Maintain DB schemas, tables, relationships, and storage structures.

Security & Compliance

• Set up user roles, access control, and permissions.

• Ensure data security, encryption, and compliance with organizational policies.

• Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities.

Performance Optimization

• Diagnose slow queries and optimize them.

• Analyze and improve database scalability and efficiency.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks: vacuuming, indexing, partitioning, etc.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Monitor database health, disk usage, replication, and logs.

• Troubleshoot database errors, performance issues, or corruption.

• Handle replication, clustering, and failover when required.
